Veronique M. Warner, Psy.D.

Veronique Merrill Warner, Psy.D, is a graduate of California School of Professional Psychology, and has been licensed since 2001.  She spent the first part of her career working for Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and county contractors serving severely emotionally disturbed children and families, as well as chronically mentally ill adults.

Dr. Warner has a wealth of administrative experience managing programs and clinics which gives her unique insight into workplace issues and stressors.  She joined Brite Psychological Services at its inception in August 2014.  Specialties include workplace stress and disability treatment, trauma-informed treatment, mindfulness, positive psychology and infant and child development.

Dr. Warner has experience working with individuals, couples and families experiencing a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, Bi-Polar Disorder, relationship discord and intimate partner violence, multi-cultural issues, workplace harassment, racism and discrimination and trauma.  She prefers to conceptualize mental health from a developmental perspective, preferring to treat the whole person and not simply the symptoms.

“As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.”  ~ Mahatma Gandhi
